The pseudonymous “Plan B” made a bold Bitcoin prediction in June, when BTC was changing hands for $35,000, having crashed from $64,000.

The Dutch former institutional investor with decades of experience in financial markets said that his “worst-case scenario” for Bitcoin was “Aug 47K, Sep 43K, Oct 63K, Nov 98K, Dec 135K.”

He was right about August and September and only 1 day off for October which just broke above $63K this morning. Plan B tweeted that his three percent “rounding error” for October was “close enough for me”.

Walmart Bitcoin mass adoption is here as the retail giant has partnered with coin-cashing machine company Coinstar and crypto-cash exchange CoinMe to install 200 BTC ATMs in its stores across the U.S. 

Although the pilot includes only 200 kiosks, the broader launch plans to eventually see the installation of 8,000 Bitcoin ATMs across the country, according to Bloomberg. There has been no further details on timelines as of yet.

Bitcoin marking a new all-time high of $67,000 last week has opened the possibility of a $135,000 – $450,000 BTC price by the end of this year, according to Plan B, creator of the popular Bitcoin Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model.

Plan B recently called Bitcoin’s price retracement from the $60,000-level the “2nd leg” of what appeared like a long-term bull market.

Despite the high Bitcoin price projections, BTC can still see big corrections in the future. Plan B thinks the next crash could wipe at least 80% off Bitcoin’s market capitalization, based on the same S2F model.

The CEO of an investment firm with $4.6 billion in assets under management is predicting that the Bitcoin (BTC) price will hit seven figures while Ethereum (ETH) will reach six.

U.S. Global Investors head Frank Holmes says that, due to Bitcoin’s scarcity and growing adoption, the flagship cryptocurrency can appreciate by around 1,600% from current levels over the next decade.

Regarding ETH, Frank says that he wouldn’t be “surprised” to see Ethereum appreciate by about 2,250% from the current levels, surpassing $100,000 per coin.

On Wednesday, just before Bitcoin surpassed the digital asset’s all-time high (ATH), the crypto analyst known as “Techdev” said the “2-week chart looks strong and ready for much higher highs.” 

Just 26 days ago, Techdev said that “$200-300K BTC looks almost too programmed” and this week, the analyst noted that we are “nowhere near a top.”

BITCOIN BTC DOMINANCE DOWN 11%

Bitcoin has started to consolidate just above the $10k mark but altcoins are still climbing which has pushed BTC dominance to an eight-month low.

Has the alt season finally arrived? Since the beginning of this year, the BTC market share has declined by almost 11%.

By the end of last year it had topped 70% but today it has dropped to 62.5% according to Tradingview.

This is the lowest it has been since early July 2019. The Bitcoin price itself has made around 44% this year in a climb from just under $7,200 to top out at $10,500 a couple of days ago.

These gains are impressive when compared to any other asset such as gold which has only managed just over 4% in the same period.

However, in the world of cryptocurrencies, these gains have been eclipsed by some of the altcoins, several of which have surged by three figures since the beginning of the year.

Total market capitalization itself is up over 60% since New Year’s Day as the rest of the cryptocurrencies out-perform their big brother.

Total crypto market cap topped $300 billion this week which is the highest it has been since early August last year.

XRP Price Hits 7-Month High as BitMEX Users Reel From 60% Flash Crash BitMEX continues to field major criticism and even anger from traders who lost huge amounts of money in a flash crash involving altcoin Ripple XRP.

The crash, which occurred at 14.00 UTC on Feb. 13, saw XRP/USD fall 60% from $0.33 to just $0.13 – for two seconds.

In that time, traders complain, measures designed to prevent liquidations of positions failed to activate, and BitMEX automatically erased their entire balances.

BitMEX is well known for offering trades with significant leverage. In the case of XRP, traders are able to leverage by up to 50 times.

Bitcoin made history today breaking it’s previous all-time high, entering price discovery mode and surpassing $67,000 per BTC.

Co-founder of Fundstrat and Wall Street Strategist Tom Lee has revealed his expectations for Bitcoin before the year runs out. 

According to a Bloomberg report, Lee revealed that he had high expectations for the digital asset, which he believes would hit the $100,000 mark by the end of the year, and added that the asset could go as high as $168,000 before the year runs out.

Anthony Scaramucci, who founded Skybridge Capital, has a long-term view of the Bitcoin price based on solid fundamentals. If he’s right, the BTC price could shatter even some of the most bullish of predictions.

Scaramucci told CNBC Bitcoin could “easily trade at $500,000 a coin,” pointing to the number of high-net-worth individuals vs. the finite supply of the cryptocurrency to go around. He cited JPMorgan data, saying there are fewer than 50 million millionaires based on USD fiat currency. Meanwhile, the supply of BTC is capped at 21 million coins. Scaramucci said,

“You don’t even have enough Bitcoins for every millionaire in our society to own one coin.”

Bitcoin O.G. Max Keiser has said that the Bank of England (BoE) will scramble to buy Bitcoin before the digital asset trades at $1 million per BTC.

The host of the Keiser Report and Orange Pill Pod, Max Keiser responded to the Bank of England’s deputy governor’s recent warning about cryptocurrencies in a statement to Express.co.uk.

“Bitcoin is designed to trigger a meltdown of the current fiat money banking system. This is a mathematically guaranteed outcome.

The bargaining phase will be their central bank digital currency stage and when that fails comes depression as the price tops $500,000 and then acceptance with the Bank of England scrambling to buy Bitcoin before it tops $ 1million per coin.”
